Hosting
We host this website with Namecheap, Inc.. Server operation, technical delivery of the site, security and performance services are provided on our behalf.
Hosting: Namecheap, Inc., 4600 East Washington Street, Suite 300, Phoenix, AZ 85034, USA.
Data center: Amsterdam, Netherlands (EU).
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and efficient website operation).
Processor agreement: Processing is based on a Data Processing Agreement under Art. 28 GDPR (DPA) with Namecheap.
Data transfers: Hosting itself takes place in the EU. Occasional access to personal data from third countries can occur (for example support cases or monitoring). For such cases we rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses under Art. 46 GDPR and additional technical and organisational measures.
Server log files
When you access our website, the host automatically collects information that your browser transmits. In particular:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of the request
- Time zone difference to GMT
- Requested content (specific page or file)
- Access status or HTTP status code
- Amount of data transferred
- Referrer URL
- Browser type and version, operating system and interface
Purposes: Content delivery, stability and security, prevention and resolution of abuse and faults.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Retention: Log files are usually deleted after 30 days at the latest unless further retention is required for evidence.
Cookies and tracking
We do not use cookies or tracking technologies. A cookie banner is therefore not required. If we integrate optional services in the future (for example analytics or embedded media), this notice will be updated and consent will be obtained where required.
Embedded content and external services
We currently do not embed external content that would send data to third parties on page load. If we add such services in the future (for example fonts, YouTube, social media widgets, CDNs), we will inform here about type, scope and legal basis and will obtain consent where necessary.

This website uses TLS/SSL. You can recognise an encrypted connection by “https” in your browser’s address bar.
Your rights
You have the following rights with regard to your personal data:

Obligation to provide data
Providing server log data is technically necessary for operating the website. No further provision of personal data is required.
Updates to this notice
We update this notice when technical changes on the website occur or when legal requirements make updates necessary. The current version is available at https://redclan.de/privacy.
Replay upload feature (.rep)
You can upload .rep files (StarCraft: Remastered replays) on this website. We process the following data:
- Uploaded file (.rep) and the file name you assign
- Time of upload
- IP address and technical logs (for security, abuse prevention and error analysis)
- Optional metadata you provide (for example player name, comment)
Purposes: Storage and publication of replays, community function, abuse prevention, ensuring technical operation.
Legal bases: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (providing the upload feature) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and stability).
Retention: Replays and related logs are stored until deleted by you or by us. Log data subject to deletion obligations is usually deleted after 30 days.
Usage notes: By uploading you confirm that you are entitled to provide the file, that you do not infringe third-party rights (for example copyright, trademarks, personality rights), and that you do not transmit unlawful content.
Moderation and reporting channel
We review reported content and remove unlawful material without undue delay. You can report unlawful content to webmaster@redclan.de. Please include a brief description and, if available, evidence or links. We will confirm receipt and inform you of the outcome of our review.
