About us
We are Red. A young, international StarCraft: Brood War and StarCraft: Remastered team, founded in 2017 and grown from long friendship. Our roots go back to the op red chat channel, where German-speaking players have met since about 2011. The name traces back to our long-time Zerg and manager RedW4rr10r. The idea to turn this meeting place into a real home for the community came from Cele, who set up the channel as the hub for the German Skype group of the time. When StarCraft: Remastered was announced, we knew we would take it seriously. A clan was the next step. League play, practice, tournaments. All of that, while keeping a family feel.

Identity with a wink
Our legendary logo is cult, originally created by Red.Fry. Inside the clan we lovingly call ourselves Dödels. For STPL we once needed a SFW variant. Red.rOuta created the Dödelfant for that purpose. It is our mascot. Distinct, charming, and with a deep stare. Look long enough into its eyes and you will see the true symbol of Red. From this the Red Elephants were born as our B-squad. Humor is part of our DNA. So are respect and team spirit.
Who we are today
We have around 50 active members with a healthy mix of races and play styles. We practice regularly, review replays, help newcomers get started, and support returnees who feel the itch for Brood War again. Our organization is intentionally lean. We make decisions transparently. We celebrate wins together and learn from losses without drama.
- Team leader: RedW4rr10r
- Operations: LML, fischei, cReAtiVee
What we do
We have competed in European and international team leagues for years. A short selection of highlights:
Champions in BWCL Season 44 (2018) and BWCL Season 60 (2024). Podium finishes such as 3rd place in BWCL Season 58 (2023). Qualifier win for Deathfate Pro Team League (2022). Regular entries in other leagues and tournaments like Shinhan Tank Proleague. The journey matters as much as the table. We grow with every match and keep the joy of the game high.
Values and community
- Fair play and respect. Zero toxicity, a clear code of conduct.
- Mentoring and onboarding. Structured help for newcomers and returnees.
- Learning together. Replay reviews, build upkeep, team communication.
- Humor welcome. Serious in the game, relaxed with each other.
